THE CUCKOO COMES IN SPRING

Arriving from Africa in April to breed, the cuckoo has long been seen as a sure sign of Spring.  Sadly, in common with so many other species, the cuckoo is in serious decline.  Tonight's presentation on this hawk-like bird's lifecycle and the threats it faces is given by Iain Evans, Director of Engagement with the British Trust for Ornithology.
